Teachers

With our 24 hour supervision and dedicated counselors, the teachers that accompany the groups receive an unexpected holiday while their learners are in our care. New teachers and tour leaders are always pleasantly surprised to find that they are free to spend their time as they wish – either watching the learning progress of their children, catching up on marking, or simply using the time in the sun to relax and rejuvenate

Teachers stay in a separate log-cabin with 6 rooms equipped with bedding, DSTV, a mini-bar, en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee facilities and private deck.

Further accommodation for bus drivers can be arranged on request.

Cabins

Campers are accommodated in camp-style log cabins and boys and girls sleep in separate and secure areas.
Two or more counselors sleep in the same cabins as the learners, ensuring round-the-clock supervision and optimal care and safety. Counselors are specially trained for different age groups. For the younger campers, who are here on their first sleep-away camp, the counselors provide comfort love, routine and support. For the older campers, they are positive role models, providing friendship, advice and guidance.
Each cabin is elevated on stilts with en-suite bathrooms and everything necessary for a comfortable night’s sleep including sturdy wooden bunks (with ladders and side bars), bedding, cupboards, covered deck and mosquito plugs.
