While children are on a school tour their safety is a huge concern for their parents. Sugar Bay adheres to international safety procedures as recommended by the American Camping Association, the same body that regulates all US Summer Camps.

The resort is equipped with high-tech security and is separate from the beach front for security reasons. The resort is enclosed by an electric fence and is patrolled by security guards. An armed response unit is on standby 24 hours a day with an unrivalled response time.

Water safety is our speciality! We have our very own life guards – all trained and qualified by Life Saving South Africa – who keep an eye on our campers when they’re in the sea and in the pool.
