Every parent wants their child to feel special, to learn teamwork, and to understand that effort and kindness matter more than luck. This December, Monopoly Week (16–23 December 2025) at Sugar Bay brings those lessons to life through a world of play, laughter, and learning.

Inspired by the classic board game, this week is filled with strategy, cooperation, and friendly competition. But more than that, it is about giving children the confidence to make choices, to be good teammates, and to realise that the greatest rewards come from connection and effort, not just winning.

A Week of Learning, Laughter, and Life Skills

Just like in Monopoly, campers will roll the dice, make decisions, and work together to reach their goals. Throughout the week, children are divided into four teams inspired by the game tokens: the dog, car, duck, and shoe. Each team works together to earn Sugar-Moola, the camp’s playful currency.

Every game, activity, and meal becomes a chance to learn. During mealtimes, campers draw property or chance cardsand decide whether to buy, trade, or take a risk. Each decision helps them build teamwork, strategy, and problem-solving skills.

As the week unfolds, they earn Sugar-Moola during evening programs and team challenges, growing their group’s “bank account.” The team that shows the most cooperation, creativity, and success will enjoy an exclusive VIP Pool Party, filled with snacks, music, and laughter.

These fun experiences help children learn patience, sharing, and humility when things do not go their way.

What to Expect During Monopoly Week

Teamwork and Friendly Competition: Campers join colour or token-themed teams that mix all ages, encouraging leadership and collaboration.

Creative Learning: Activities include human-sized Monopoly games, casino nights, scavenger hunts, and themed tournaments. Campers will also enjoy pizza-making, arcade games, bowling excursions, and campfire bonding nights.

Life Lessons in Play: Buying properties, managing Sugar-Moola, and facing chance cards turn simple fun into meaningful growth. Kids learn money sense, cooperation, and fairness through every challenge.

VIP Pool Party Celebration: The winning team enjoys a special VIP section at the pool party, a reward for teamwork and good spirit.

A Unique Camp Experience: From creative challenges to team events, Monopoly Week helps children form new friendships and gain a sense of pride in their achievements.
