About Sugar Bay: Sugar Bay is a renowned children's holiday camp nestled in Zinkwazi Beach, KwaZulu Natal, just an hour north of Durban. We are actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our marketing office team in the beautiful coastal village of Zinkwazi Beach.

 

Job Description:
As the School Tours Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with teachers and school administrators. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Marketing to New Schools (locally and internationally): Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new schools and groups to Sugar Bay both locally and internationally.

• Managing Bookings: Receive and process all group bookings, collaborating closely with our programming manager to coordinate dates and logistics.

• Customer Liaison: Engage with visiting teachers to ensure an exceptional tour experience, while maintaining strong client relationships with past schools.

 

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Email and typing.

• Confident in communicating with clients over the phone.

• Strong administrative skills and organizational abilities.

• Friendly, personable, and adept at interpersonal relationships.

• Basic understanding of school tours and how Sugar Bay can be effectively marketed to new schools.

 

Advantageous:

• Fluency in additional languages other than English (Afrikaans or Zulu).

• Teaching experience.

• Sales/Marketing/Travel agent experience.
