About Sugar Bay: Sugar Bay is a renowned children’s holiday camp nestled in the charming coastal village of Zinkwazi Beach, Kwazulu Natal. Our commitment to providing exceptional experiences for children requires a dedicated team, and we are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Human Resources Department as a full-time Human Resources Assistant / Personal Assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Support HR/Resort Manager: Collaborate closely with the HR/Resort Manager, assisting in various administrative duties and tasks as directed.

  • Data Management: Efficiently enter and manage information on the company database, ensuring  accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Document Preparation: Typing and preparing various HR documents such as contracts, disciplinary records, and leave documentation.

  • Employee File Maintenance: Organize and maintain comprehensive employee files in accordance with HR  Manager's directives.

  • Payroll Preparation: Assist in preparing necessary information for payroll processing.

  • Employee Support: Address and resolve queries and complaints from support staff, fostering a positive working environment.

  • Sourcing and Purchasing: Play a role in sourcing and purchasing activities as needed.

  • Executive Assistance: Assist Directors with tasks and responsibilities as directed.

  • Accommodation Oversight: Manage staff accommodation logistics and address related concerns.

  • Resort Inspections: Conduct inspections to ensure the resort's compliance with standards and regulations.

  • Controller Oversight: Oversee controllers and ensure smooth operations.

  • Uniform Management: Handle staff uniform issuance and ordering processes.

Requirements:

  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

  • Problem-Solving: Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a noisy, busy, and sometimes stressful environment.
